Silver Salver/Tray By Barker Brothers, Birmingham 1894 - 628g
Silver Salver/Tray By Barker Brothers, Birmingham 1894 - 628g.
Salver is surrounded by a thick ornate rim and has floral chasing to its surface. In the centre is a blank, un-engraved cartouche.
The salver measures 28cm across at its widest point and weighs a total of 628g.
It’s condition is good for its age, however, it does have some damage to 2 of its feet. Please see images of a good foot and a damaged foot for reference. Additionally, there is a surface blemish to the rear side, approximately 5mm in length. I do not think that this is a repair and do believe it is more along the lines of a manufacturing defect due to it being a strange position to receive damage and the fact there is no effect of the blemish on the front of the salver.
